Our shop isn't just a retail store; it's a hub for aquascaping/terrarium and paludarium enthusiasts, from beginners to seasoned scapers. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality plants and equipment along with expert advice and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Retail Assistant to help us grow our community and share this art.

What You'll Do:

• Engage with Customers: Welcome and assist customers, offering friendly advice on aquascaping, terrariums, paludariums and plant care.
• Share Your Knowledge: Help customers choose the right plants, hardscape materials (like wood and stone), and equipment for their dream project.
• Maintain Our Displays:Take pride in caring for our in-store display tanks, ensuring they are always thriving and inspirational. This includes plant trimming, water changes, and general maintenance.
• Care for Aquatic and Terrestrial Plants: Ensure the health and well-being of our aquatic and terrestrial plants.
• Process Transactions: Handle sales, manage the cash register, and process payments accurately.
• Manage Inventory:Assist with stocking shelves, organizing products, and keeping the store clean and presentable.
• Contribute to a Positive Team Environment: Work collaboratively with the team to achieve store goals and create a great experience for everyone.

Who We're Looking For:

• A Passion for Nature: You have a genuine interest in and knowledge of the hobby. Personal experience with a planted tank is a huge plus!
• Eager to Learn: You don't need to be a world-champion artist, but you must have a strong desire to learn and grow your skills.
• Excellent Communicator: You are friendly, approachable, and enjoy talking to people about nature aquariums and plants.
• Customer-Focused: You are dedicated to providing an outstanding customer experience.
• Reliable and Responsible: You are able to work independently, punctual, trustworthy, and have a strong work ethic.
• Team Player: You work well with others and are happy to lend a hand wherever needed.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is  essential.
