Stainless steel filter guard that can be easily attached to the water intake pipe to protect shrimp, invertebrates and baby fish from being sucked into the filter. When cleaning is required, simply brush off any accumulated debris off the filter guard with your hand or a soft brush such as a toothbrush.

Note:
Please take note that the stainless steel filter guards fits over the filter's intake, not over the strainer. If your filter has an integrated strainer, these filter guards will not work without modification
