This isn't potting soil. It's a complete living ecosystem in a bag — a carefully balanced blend of organic and mineral components that supports plant roots, feeds microfauna, and maintains biological activity for months and years in a closed or semi-closed terrarium.
Open the bag. Fill your jar. Add plants, springtails, and isopods. Let nature do the rest.
What's inside
A proprietary blend of organic coir base, volcanic minerals, fresh locally farmed worm castings, moisture-buffering botanicals, and purifying carbon — hand-blended in small batches in Brunei. Formulated specifically for tropical and humid setups in Borneo's climate.
The worm castings are fresh and biologically active — they seed the substrate with the microbial life that makes a bioactive terrarium self-sustaining. Combined with our volcanic mineral component, the mix stays aerated, drains well, and never compacts into a dense anaerobic layer.

Why it's different from garden soil or generic potting mix
Garden soil compacts, goes anaerobic, and kills microfauna. Generic potting mix has fertiliser levels too high for closed environments and no microbial structure. Our substrate is formulated with no synthetic fertilisers, the right particle size for root exploration, and enough organic matter to feed your cleanup crew for months.

How to use
Fill to your desired depth — minimum 5 cm for a healthy microfauna layer. Lightly mist before planting. Introduce springtails first, then isopods, then plants. The substrate is ready to use straight from the bag — no conditioning or mixing required.
Sell by volume, measured uncompacted. Actual weight varies by moisture content.
